When I brought up this topic on LinkedIn, I received a number of replies from people annoyed by the political posturing of the award participants -- so I think you have tapped into something there. I do think the Oscars will remain relevant for years to come, but more as a barometer of filmmaking success -- not THE barometer it once was. Thank you again for responding.
